you know the boner party is over when Robin Williams shows up.
when did he start showing up to one of my old bars in Chicago? when the fuck did Robin Williams go Chicago Hipster on us? when the fuck did that happen? did he go to the ‘get out of the hood’ Flosstradamus shows? did he tell people “yeah i know Curt and Josh” but when in reality he didn’t? did he used to sit in Filter and order the awfully bad drip coffee and smoke cigarettes (while you still could)? did he “hate Johnny Love” (as was the fashion at the time)? was he a Columbia kid or an Art Institute Kid? did he go to Heaven Gallery back in the day when it was still cool? did he declare Wicker Park “totally over” and then move to Logan Square (or god forbid, Pilsen)? did he date a Suicide Girl back in the day when that used to “mean something”?
lots of chicago hipster references for you all.

Well, this post perfectly sums up what my experience living in Chicago was like while attending Columbia.

I kind of miss living down the street from Filter and going to the Johnny Love skank parties. Well maybe only for a second.
Oh and I saw Robin Williams not too long ago. He made me nervous.
