  1. After being delayed an hour and a half from Miami to Chicago and then waiting for my baggage for hour, I finally could get in a cab and rush to the pet hotel to pick up my pups before their check out time expired.

We were delayed because of the snow and it was falling pretty hard. Our cabby didn’t seem to care and drove at 60 in a 40 and crossed over 3 lanes without stopping to look.. I asked him to please slow down.  He said no. I was like, what?! He said, “I’m the driver, you’re the passenger- if you don’t want me to speed I’ll turn around and take you back to the airport.”At this point I was pretty shaken because I couldn’t believe what was happening, so seeing as how we were right outside the airport, I asked him to drop me off at the nearest hotel immediately. He said no. I was seriously freaked out and thought he was going to kidnap me or worse. He said that he wouldn’t drop me off unless I paid him the $25 fare from the airport to my house.. I agreed in order to get myself out of the situation as fast as possible. He then went on to say that he’s had a drivers license for 15 years and I shouldn’t say anything because I could cause and accident by confusing him.

After getting out of the cab and not paying the fare, he threatened to call the police and I agreed that he should. I reported it to the number that’s listed on the passenger’s bill of rights inside the cab.. we’ll see what happens. I’ll never get in a Globe Taxi again.
