I recently stumbled upon the Travel section at nytimes.com and it is awesome. All you do is type your destination in the search field and it not only gives you a handful of articles about where you’re traveling to, but also offers suggestions for where to stay, where to eat and what to do. I really like the way they organized their ‘where to eat’ suggestions. One column introduces their name (linking to an overview), the next depicts the kind of cuisine, the next provides a summed, starred review and the last shows you the price range. Its a really simple way to shop for an unknown restaurant in an unknown area.
Just thought I’d share because I recently was frustrated using Citysearch and Yelp.. they just simply don’t work everywhere.. at least not in Key West.
